Bridge lowered to provide gateway to Porth Teigr and Media Capital

The lowering of a new £2.5m bridge, known as the Porth Teigr Outer Lock Crossing, onto Porth Teigr is described as ‘another step forward’ in the ongoing development of the Porth Teigr site. The bridge connects the wider Cardiff Bay area to the Porth Teigr site and the new BBC Wales Roath Lock studios. This pivotal event takes Porth Teigr a step closer to realising its aim of creating an environmentally sustainable mixed use development including commercial, retail and residential space.
